Every 2 years Alexandria is host to MOC - Mediterranean Offshore Conference, and we are happy to see in our city at the beginning of the summer season, the presence of many national and international guests.

I would like therefore to express my welcome to all participants to MOC and invite you to enjoy the colors, views, facilities and services of the second city and main port city of Egypt. Alexandria is honored to continue to support the MOC exhibition and Conference and to continue its special relationship with the oil & gas industry and with the countries facing the Mediterranean Sea and sharing its great opportunities.

With a population of more than 4 million inhabitants, Alexandria is probably the most culturally diverse of all Egyptian cities and has an atmosphere that is very Mediterranean due the long history of trade and cultural links between the Southern and the Northern shores of this “Middle Sea”.

The increasing regional importance of Alexandria within the oil & gas industry together with it’s attractive architecture, mild climate and facilities, make our city an ideal destination for businessmen, investors and travelers, and a preferred spot for meetings and conferences.
